Where hair transplantation fits
A hair transplant can be an important part of hair restoration, but we do not believe it should automatically be the first step. We establish the right foundation first, then reassess before deciding whether transplantation is needed and what genuinely needs replacing.
Why the order matters
For some patients, restoring and supporting the existing hair may be enough. For others, areas of permanent hair loss may still benefit from transplantation.
At The Hampton Clinic, transplantation is considered after the foundation has been addressed. That allows us to focus surgery on what genuinely needs replacing, while preserving the donor area wherever possible. The donor area is finite. Spending it before you know how much of the existing hair could have been saved is a decision that cannot be undone.
FUE and DHI
For suitable patients we offer FUE and DHI hair transplantation. Which technique is used depends on the individual case rather than on a fixed clinic preference.
Where the procedure happens
Where a hair transplant is appropriate, procedures are carried out in Turkey with Acıbadem Kartal Hospital.
Your care does not simply stop when you leave Bristol. Tarek personally accompanies patients to Turkey, providing continuity and support from the initial assessment and foundation stage through to the transplant journey.
The aim is simple: protect what you have first, then replace what cannot be restored.
