What exosomes are
Exosomes are microscopic extracellular vesicles involved in communication between cells. They carry biological signals, including proteins and other molecules involved in cellular processes.
Their potential use in hair restoration centres on supporting communication and signalling within the environment surrounding the hair follicle.
Our position
We do not view exosomes as a universal treatment for hair loss. As with the other treatments we offer, they sit within our wider approach to assessing, preserving and restoring existing hair.
Where used, exosome treatment forms part of the wider hair restoration approach rather than being presented as a standalone solution.
The starting point is always a consultation and scalp assessment, which lets us understand the condition of your existing hair, establish what remains viable and determine whether treatment is appropriate at all.
